Our Collections:
George Perkins Marsh Online Research Center - images
and annotated searchable transcriptions of selected correspondence of the
noted 19th century environmentalist.
The Eugenics Project - hundreds of documents and images
related to the eugenics movement in Vermont, with commentary. (Coming
2002)
UVM Special Collections Finding Aids - searchable
guides to some of the university's manuscript collections.
The History Review - award winning journal of student essays on history and historic preservation. (Some volumes in progress)
Godey's Lady's Book - complete images, partially searchable, of several issues of this popular 19th century magazine.
The Burlington Agenda - a report on research issues in intellectual access to electronically published historical documents.
Other projects include - the collected works of 19th
cent. writer Alice B. Neal Haven, the narrative
of Rev'd Nathan Perkins' 1789 tour of Vermont, and a database
of historic barns in one Vermont town.
